I found an item that I love, but can I get it in a different color?
Of course! Unless otherwise specified, all of the items in our shop can be custom made in a wide variety of colors. Just fill out the “notes to seller” section when you check out and leave detailed instructions with the color(s) you would like. Need help choosing the right colors? Just send me a message and I will work with you to choose a color scheme you love! I will contact you to confirm all custom requests before beginning work, so please be sure to check your email.
Please note: Because all items are handmade, there may be slight color variations from the photos. Each item I create is unique and made just for you!
Do you provide gift wrapping?
All of my welcome mats come wrapped and ready for gift-giving. Just add a card and you are good to go! Other items can be gift-wrapped upon request - just send me a convo and I can let you know what is available.
Please also note that Color Love Studio strives to leave a small footprint on our environment. I use earth-friendly packaging and shipping materials whenever possible.
What is your production time?
Please see individual items for shipping timelines. Welcome mats, especially, may take a few weeks during high volume times of the year. Please know that I strive for the best quality and it will be worth the wait! Rush orders may be available for an additional fee.
How will my item(s) be shipped and will they be insured?
Please choose your method of shipping when you checkout. Please note that items shipped by USPS Priority Mail include tracking and $50 of insurance. Items sent by USPS Express Mail include $100 of insurance. If you would like to purchase additional insurance, please contact me. USPS First Class does not include tracking or insurance.
Color Love Studio is not responsible for errors made by the US Post Office, or for stolen/lost items. If your item is delayed past its estimated arrival date, we recommend filing a complaint with the USPS. Please verify that you have provided the correct shipping address at checkout. If a customer has entered incorrect shipping information, they are responsible for additional postage to resend the item.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
I want you to be happy with your purchase! If you have concerns, please contact me within 3 days of receiving your item and I will do my best to resolve any issues. I work hard to ensure excellent customer service and positive feedback, so please do not hesitate to get in touch with me. Please note that returns or exchanges are only accepted if the item shows no sign of use or damage. Please return the item within 7 business days and we will issue a refund (before shipping) in the same manner you paid. Buyer is responsible for return shipping fees. Custom, personalized, and sale items cannot be returned.
What should I know about the appearance of my new welcome mat?
Color Love Studio welcome mats are made of high-quality coir (coconut husks). Coconut husks change color as they ripen, so there may be slight color variations from mat to mat or even within the same mat, since many different coconuts are used. This color will naturally even out and become darker over time. No dyes are used in our door mats.
What should I know about the care and upkeep of my new welcome mat?
Coir mats are perfect for most climates, however they should not be exposed to direct rainfall or extended moisture. To extend the life of your welcome mat, keep in a sheltered area such as a covered porch. If your mat gets wet and darkens in places, turn it upside down to allow the water to escape. Then let it dry in the sun. The color will even out over time. Please avoid use of rock salt, chemical cleansers, or water. To clean your welcome mat, you can vacuum it or simply give it a good shake!
